Head of Membership, West Coast

We are seeking a Head of Membership to join our Los Angeles team. This role will be responsible for driving membership growth by engaging and retaining existing members while securing new high-level members each year. This role involves fostering long-term relationships and demonstrating the value of The Cultivist’s exclusive offerings. The Head of Membership will oversee West Coast member engagement, and may collaborate with the wider team on programming, corporate partnerships, and business development, positioning The Cultivist as the premier global membership for art and luxury enthusiasts.
Position will include, but may not be limited to the following responsibilities:
West Coast Membership:
Drive West Coast membership growth through your own introductions, as well as converting former members to rejoin the membership;
Manage and engage current members, collaborating with Member Services to track engagement and maintain strong renewal rates;
Foster member engagement through personalized outreach, such as meetings, coffee catch-ups, and handwritten notes.
West Coast Programming:
Attend events in LA and San Francisco, ensuring team readiness for member interaction;
Drive event attendance through personalized outreach to members or mobilizing the team to connect with key contacts;
Collaborate with the programming team to generate event ideas that promote sales growth and membership renewals.
Business Development:
Support Corporate Partnerships on the West Coast by providing lead introductions and closing sales opportunities.

More Details:
$80,000-100,000 + opportunity for performance based compensation (commensurate with experience)
Benefits include 401k, health benefits, generous holiday policy, and summer / end of year remote working benefits available after probation
Monday - Thursday: 9am-6pm, Friday: 9am-4pm, some additional hours may be required for events
